Sharon Elizabeth is one of the photographers I've been following since I decided I wanted to make this a career (a good year before I was actually able to). Haven't seen her work? Check out her Facebook and Website. Her work is just amazing. A few of my fellow photog friends participated in Sharon's shoot out last spring. When I saw their pictures and Sharon's post about it I knew I just had to get in on the next one. So I emailed her and she told me to keep an eye out because she would be hosting another one in the fall. So I did. As soon as I saw her post for it I asked my bestie, Heather of Heather Papineau Photography, if she wanted to go with me. And so began a beautiful friendship ;) We signed up in April. The shoot out wasn't until October. Talk about impatient! FINALLY October rolled around! Heather and I made the trip up to Clay Hill in Yale, VA and we were not disappointed! If I could live on this property I would! Plus we had an all star list of vendors that set everything up beautifully. The models were gorgeous. The day was perfect. What more could you ask for?! A very pregnant Sharon guided us throughout the day. She answered questions we had, gave us pointers while shooting, and taught us how to communicate with our clients. The experience was extraordinary! Sharon is an amazing person. I can't wait to work with her again!
