Beach Ambassadors Up Center Book Drive | Virginia Beach Event Photographer

I've written about this group of guys before. I just can't say enough about them. They're using their influence in the community to do great things for non-profit organizations throughout Hampton Roads. This past Saturday was the Beach Ambassadors' 1 year anniversary party. They also used this night of celebration to present The Up Center with a whopping 7,000-8,000 books!!!

Sharon Elizabeth Shoot Out | Hampton Roads Wedding Photographer

Sharon Elizabeth is one of the photographers I've been following since I decided I wanted to make this a career (a good year before I was actually able to). Haven't seen her work? Check out her Facebook and Website. Her work is just amazing. A few of my fellow photog friends participated in Sharon's shoot out last spring. When I saw their pictures and Sharon's post about it I knew I just had to get in on the next one. So I emailed her and she told me to keep an eye out because she would be hosting another one in the fall. So I did. As soon as I saw her post for it I asked my bestie, Heather of Heather Papineau Photography, if she wanted to go with me. And so began a beautiful friendship ;)

Sean & Laura's Gender Reveal | Virginia Beach Family Photographer

Sean and I basically grew up together and I've known Laura for a number of years now, too. I was ecstatic to hear that they were expecting their first bambino!! I was also excited to find out they were doing a gender reveal party...of course I'll be there with my camera!!!

Gah! This family! I just love them so much!! Heather is one of my best friends and a fellow photographer so I was honored when she asked me to take her family pictures! Little Jack gave us a run for our money but I still managed to get a bunch of gorgeous shots of this gorgeous family!!

Jamane is simply glowing!! Her and Jesse are expecting their 3rd bundle of joy! She said to me "we're not a model couple". How wrong was she?! This was a dual session...you can see their family pictures HERE.

The Valenti's | Sandbridge Family Photographer

Mike and I basically grew up together...our dads have known each other since they were 2! I feel like I've known Amy for just as long! They came down this weekend to visit family and asked me to take family pictures of them and they freaking adorable daughter, Harper. (PS it's super cute when Amy calls her Harper Annie!!!) This morning was perfect!! We went to Sandbridge at sunrise and couldn't have asked for better weather! Love you guys!! Enjoy!

Nicole | Chesapeake, VA Bridals

This session couldn't have been more perfect. My sister, Nicole, was married on Saturday June 1. We did her bridal session on Thursday. Yup - 2 days before the wedding!! My niece was the flower girl and my sister made that dress!! Crafty little thing. The goat that you see in some of the pictures followed us around the farm, or rather, he followed my niece around! I just HAD to get him in some of the shots! Anyway, the sun was perfect, the people at Bergey's were awesome, and my sister was gorgeous! What more could you ask for?! Enjoy!!
