This was my first lifestyle session and I have to say, I loved it! Capturing a family while they're naturally interacting is amazing. We have been in New Hampshire for a week visiting my husband's family. His cousin, Todd, invited us out on their boat for the day and his wife Jill asked me to take some pictures of them. This family is so sweet. Little Evelyn liked to hold on to daddy's leg while he was driving the boat. Annabelle is a little gymnast, climbing on the bars in the boat. And Callen is going to be an extreme sports fanatic!! He got up on that knee board within seconds!! Todd and Jill took turns driving the boat...Todd needed a turn on the knee board and skis!

I've been experimenting a lot lately. My friend and hair stylist, Ash Fortis, who I RAVED about HERE, asked me to help her out on Sunday. She's entering a color contest and needed a photographer to show off her work. Lesley was the lucky winner picked to sit in Ash's chair and let her color to her heart's content!! After the coloring and styling were complete we headed down the street to the Naro. Everything just fell in to place!

If you read my previous blog post, HERE, you know that I branched out a couple of weekends ago into something that was foreign to me. I was asked to photograph a couple of bands at a local venue. I reluctantly agreed; I had no idea how concert photography was going to compare to the natural light photography I'm so use to. I had a BLAST!! And the pictures came out better than I expected! The headlining band that night was Like A Storm.
Read MoreA few weeks ago I decided to try my hand at something new. A friend of mine asked me if I'd be interested in photographing 2 bands at a local bar. I admit, I was a bit reluctant at first. Indoor lighting, not to mention concert lighting, is so far from the natural light photography that I normally do. I did some research for camera settings and jumped in. The results were so much better than I could've ever hoped!

This session couldn't have been more perfect. My sister, Nicole, was married on Saturday June 1. We did her bridal session on Thursday. Yup - 2 days before the wedding!! My niece was the flower girl and my sister made that dress!! Crafty little thing. The goat that you see in some of the pictures followed us around the farm, or rather, he followed my niece around! I just HAD to get him in some of the shots! Anyway, the sun was perfect, the people at Bergey's were awesome, and my sister was gorgeous! What more could you ask for?! Enjoy!!
